ACS - Recipient of Chatsworth Backpack Drive
08/17/2017
On Friday, August 11th, a delegation from Arapahoe Charter School met with representatives of Chatsworth Products, a major manufacturer in New Bern, to receive 60 backpacks filled with school supplies just in time for new school year. Chatsworth Products, an employee-owned company, addresses today’s IT infrastructure needs with products and services that protect the world’s ever-growing investment in information and communication technology. The company has an on-going program that participates in community-based, employee-driven projects. This year ACS was chosen as the recipient of a backpack drive to help provide the best possible educational opportunity for students. “The efforts of Chatsworth employees to work hand-in-hand with the community is a welcomed and much appreciated way to kick off the new school at ACS,” said Dr. Dennis Sawyer, Administrative Director. “This firm exemplifies the very best of business-community involvement and the positive effect it has on our school.” “We are appreciative to be chosen as this year’s recipient and will see these backpacks are delivered into deserving hands.”
