ACS Bobcats Take on the NCMA
11/09/2017
High school art classes visited the NC Museum of Art Thursday, November 9, as part of "The Artistic Process" program. Schools across the state are paired and study in an online schoology platform learning about the concepts of Identity, Storytelling, and Place. They explore how students get ideas and how they decide on mediums and techniques. Students from the two schools get to know each other in the online classroom and take a field trip together. Ultimately, students will select a piece from the museum and complete a piece of art inspired by the piece. They document their process by taking photographs and writing about what they are doing and why.
